There are ten thrilling channel premieres in June as LEGEND continue to offer a popular mix of nostalgic favourites and modern, star-studded premieres, including Joel Schumacher's gripping legal drama A TIME TO KILL, Jon Amiel's psychological thriller COPYCAT and both RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER and RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER: PART II - the first two films in the brutal British gangster saga that has been engaging its millions of fans since 2007.
Then there is Ted Kotcheff's gritty action-drama UNCOMMON VALOR, starring Gene Hackman, Robert Benton's much-praised revisionist Western BAD COMPANY, starring Jeff Bridges and Barry Brown, and heist action thriller THE SHANGHAI JOB. Further channel premieres include FORTRESS: SNIPER'S EYE, an action-thriller sequel of the original 2021 film, starring Bruce Willis and Jesse Metcalfe, moody Euro-styled thriller MAN ON FIRE, Steve Milner's Westen TEXAS RANGER.

Let's start on the 6th with Gene Hackman starring in UNCOMMON VALOR. Col. Cal Rhodes (Hackman), a retired Marine officer, holds out hope that his son, believed to be a prisoner of war in Laos, is still alive. Despite the government's refusal to help Rhodes, he assembles a group to find and rescue his son, including skilled soldiers such as Wilkes (Fred Ward) and Sailor (Randall "Tex" Cobb). Funded by MacGregor (Robert Stack), a wealthy executive also looking for his son, Rhodes leads his men on a dangerous mission into the jungles of Laos. Crime drama on the 12th in MAN ON FIRE. Christian Creasy, (Scott Glenn), an agent newly retired from the CIA, agrees to become an Italian businessman's bodyguard, but things fall apart when terrorists kidnap Samantha (Jade Malle), the Italian's daughter and Creasy must rescue her. We meet the TEXAS RANGERS on the 13th which is set After the Civil War, Texas is at the mercy of murderous bandits. From the chaos emerges a group of young cowboys summoned to reform the Texas Rangers and restore order.

A 90's classic comes to LEGEND on the 14th, A TIME TO KILL. A tale of suspicion and prejudice in the deep south as a young lawyer defends a black mill worker charged with murdering two white men who raped his 10-year-old daughter. Stars Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson, Matthew McConaughey, Donald and Kiefer Sutherland. We get with BAD COMPANY on the 18th, where Civil War draft dodger Drew Dixon (Barry Brown) avoids the horrors of war by fleeing west, only to become mixed up with a gang of lawless youths led by the debonair con man Jake Rumsey (Jeff Bridges). An iconic British gangster saga starts on the 19th, RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER. The film that started the popular British crime franchise follows Carlton Leach (Ricci Harnett) as he evolves from feared football terrace general to a member of one of the most notorious British gangs that operated throughout the late eighties and early nineties. Also starring Craig Fairbrass, Roland Manookian and Terry Stone.

Orlando Bloom stars in THE SHANGHAI JOB on the 20th where, after messing up a job, security agent Danny (Bloom) is now working on low-level body guarding jobs. Soon he has the chance to redeem himself and escort a valuable Chinese antique out of Shanghai, but events take a turn for the worse. RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER: PART II on the 26th is set in 1997 and in this second helping of the ground-shattering franchise, Carlton Leach (Ricci Harnett), now a shadow of his former self must fight to regain his place in the criminal underworld. Co-stars Craig Fairbrass Ronald Manookian and Terry Stone. The following evening in the action-thriller sequel FORTRESS: SNIPER'S EYE we follow retired CIA agent Robert Michaels (Bruce Willis) and his son Paul (Jesse Metcalfe). Weeks after the first film, they must protect their high-tech, secluded "Fortress" base from a familiar enemy. We end on the 28th with one of the most critically acclaimed crime thrillers of the 90s, COPYCAT. Fear and death plague San Francisco when a man commits a series of murders, each the re-creation of the work of an infamous serial killer. Now, two women must penetrate the killer's twisted psyche before he murders again. Stars Sigourney Weaver and Holly Hunter.
